Hook scripts you can adapt, with rough timings
Short script shapes that stay human. Swap in your product. Do not read them like a press release.
Rules before templates
One idea per opening. If the first line has two benefits, it has none.
Speak like a person who just noticed something. “Our solution streamlines workflows” is a brochure. “I stopped doing this by hand” is a hook.
Leave the middle loose. Lock the first line and the shot you cut to.
Five shapes
The double-take. 0–2s: “Wait.” 2–7s: the result on screen. 7–12s: how you got there.
The complaint. 0–3s: the annoying job, in plain words. 3–10s: the same job inside the product.
The disbelief. 0–2s: “That took one tap?” 2–8s: the tap, slowed if needed.
The niche callout. 0–2s: who it is for. 2–9s: the moment they recognize.
The quiet comparison. 0–3s: the old way, ugly and specific. 3–10s: the new way, one action.
What not to paste in
Do not promise results you cannot show. A reaction is not a testimonial. If nobody used the product on camera, do not write as if they did. The hook can sell attention. The demo has to sell the truth.
