Testing hooks · 6 min read

A weekly loop for learning which hooks work

Research, bet, cut, read, repeat. Small enough to finish. Specific enough to teach.

Monday: one tension

Pull a sentence from support, reviews, or sales calls. That sentence is the hook’s raw material.

Tuesday: three openings

Same demo. Three emotions. Name the bet on each before you export.

Midweek: read the start

Look at whether people stayed, not whether you like the edit. Pause anything that dies immediately.

Friday: one note for next week

What tension was ignored? What face or line is worth a sibling? Next week starts from that note, not from a blank page.
